VWI provides complete facilities management and maintenance services for mission-critical government facilities, worldwide. With a primary focus on support of military healthcare delivery centers and medical treatment facilities (MTFs), our services range from development of programs that define appropriate facilities-related operations and maintenance (O&M) concepts in the project planning stages, to hands-on performance of on-site operations and support of the Government’s Facility Manager in his/her day-to-day management of O&M facility tasks.
Our experienced engineering and technical teams meet the uniquely complex demands of healthcare facilities by developing and publishing facility orientation guides and O&M manuals; performing preventive and corrective maintenance; and servicing major mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and computer systems. These actions are actively tracked through the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) application, which ensures that each facility attains full life-cycle benefits at or below set budgets.
VWI’s in-depth understanding of O&M services delivery ensures reliable, continuous and efficient operations, supported by documentation that satisfies JCAHO, AAAHC, HCFA, NFPA and other relevant codes/requirements. Our team brings a core business focus to each project by implementing fundamental business principles, coupled with experience-driven O&M procedures, processes and proven benchmarking methodologies that allow us to effectively identify potential improvement opportunities within existing facilities . Our primary customers range from large complex medical centers, such as the Evans Army Community Hospital complex at Fort Carson, Colorado, to small hospitals and clinics worldwide.
